Making Colliodal Silver from home

After paying $25 to $30 and up for 4oz's of Colloidal Silver for several years, I researched on the net how to make my own CS (Colloidal Silver).  I talked to several people experienced in making their own CS at home. I found a site that sent me a free small generator that was two silver wires connected inside a simple plug in a simple wall phone jack. In order to make CS, there needs to be an electrical current to the silver wires to make your own CS. There is a small amount of current that comes through your phone jack, under 40volts of AC (Alternating current). I did not use this small phone jack generator for almost a year. Then after paying the $25 to $30 dollars a couple of more times, I thought, hey, I need to get that thing out and see if I can do it. I took it out and tried it. I had to have distilled water and a pinch of vitamin C off a vitamin C tablet. Just a pinch. The original directions said to plug the wall jack generator into the the wall phone plug, then put the wires into a glass of distilled water with a pinch of vitamin C, making an 8 oz glass at a time. Instead, I took the wall jack generator, plugged it into a small rectangular shaped jack extention connector  you can buy at Walmart or the Dollar Store, and took a short 5 foot long phone wire, and plugged that into the wall. This made it like an extention cord so I could set a 12 oz glass peanut butter jar on the table, using a plastic lid for the jar that I had made holes in for the silver wire to go through to the water, tape it in place so it wouldn't wiggle around and plug the phone wire into the wall, and sit and watch it being made. It was done in about 30 minutes to an hour. I made silver like this with the phone jack generator, for a year or so. Then I started researching on the net, differnt types of generators. I talked to one fellow on the net who made CS for retail, and he said to find a 14 volt or above DC, direct current,  adaptor/transformer. Many appliances use AC adaptor's to provide electrical current. It was decided in Edison's time to provide AC, alternating current, when supplying electricity to homes (wall plugs, etc.). Many adapters for home electronics use adapters that transform current from AC to DC.  DC current, direct current, is what is needed for making CS.  I finally found a 12 volt transforming adaptor from Radio Shak for a about $20. I cut off the connector opposite of the plug in, and split the wires apart, pulling them down about 5 inches. I then skinned the plastic cover off the wires back about 1/2 in, and slid heat shrink (sold at Radio Shak and maybe Walmart etc.) over the wire, got two alligator clips and connected each of the two bare wires to one of the clips and slid the shrink cover over the bare wire and the clips and put a lighter to heat it up to shrink to fit. I was given two 9 in silver wires for making CS. (NOTE: THE SILVER WIRE MUST BE .999 PURE WIRE AND CANNOT BE JEWELRY GRADE WIRE! Jewelry grade wire has copper and other things mixed in it that can be harmful to the body.) I put the silver wire down in the holes on the plastic lid of the glass jar ( I now have a quart canning jar) and into the distilled water. Next, I connected the alligator clips to the silver wire. And you're ready to get started making Colloidal Silver! Video to follow later.

How to make Colloidal Silver for the novice...like me

This blog was created with the intent to share some knowledge I have about Colloidal Silver. I am no expert but I want to inform others about the benefits reaped from its use. In the beginning; about 10 years ago, I discovered Colloidal Silver due to my daughter;s inability to tolerate antibiotics. She had severe reactions to the antibiotics on the 7th day that caused flu like symptoms, low grade fever, joint aches, rashes at the joint. A few hours after the first appearance of the rash at the joints, the rash would develop into full blown hives, severe joint pain to the point she could not walk, and be in the floor crawling and crying. She was misdiagnosed by her pediatrician with Lupus. After several trips to Children's Hospital to see the Head of Rhuematology and coming up with no answers or treatment, and his diagnosis was against Lupus, I began to explore alternative methods of treatment. About three years later is when I was told about Colloidal Silver while visiting health food stores to dig for answers that I was not getting in the medical field. I was skeptical at first, but willing to try anything at this point to protect her from winter flu's and throat infections. I purchased the Colloidal Silver (CS) and tried it on myself and had success with infections. I paid about $30 for a 4 oz. bottle.

Back then and even now in this economy, $30 was hard to come by for a single parent of two children at home at the time. I constantly worried and agonized over my daughter being exposed to Strep and panicked over any sore throat. It was a hard time in my life. Over the years, I have since found several things to stop sickness in it's tracks before it gets severe enough to require an antibiotic, primarily including colloidal silver.  I now make my own at home for pennies on the dollar.  I am new at blogging this is a snippet with more to come. There is a science behind why CS works. I will explain further in future blogs. If you would like more info, please leave a comment or question and I will try to answer.
